DIY Glitter Tip Boots

1. Pick out what shoes you want to paint. I bought these boots awhile back thrifting, and haven't gotten much use out of them. I figured they needed to be spiced up a little bit. 

2. Use tape and cover up anything you do not want paint on. 

3. What you will need: 

Mod Podge 

Tape 

Paint Brush 

Glitter (whatever color you want) 

Something to mix the paste into 

4. Pour Mod Podge into the bowl. They add glitter and mix until its the color you want. Put it in the microwave for 5 seconds. This makes the Mod Podge spread easier. 

5. Paint the area of the shoe that you taped off. 

6. Let the mixture dry and then peel off the tape. 

And tada!! The final blue tip sparkle stomping boots.

Ombre Obsession

So it's true....I have an obsession with ombre everything. Hair, shorts, shirts, really anything. Even yesterday when I was laying out in my pool I was daydreaming of ombre turquoise water. I had to get this obsession under control because it was taking over my normal thoughts.

I decided to go through some of my old shorts and ombre the loving sweetness out of them. The only problem was I only had two things at my house I could use: bleach and teal Rit dye. I was not mad about it because this could make some pretty cool shorts.

Once I started coloring things in my backyard there was no stopping me. I dyed a dark pair into a white tie-dye, a teal and white combo pair, and teal/ombre denim shorts.My shorts are in the washer as we speak. I will put up some pictures on how to ombre your shorts as soon and they are not turning my hands blue anymore.

If you see me walking down the street wearing head-to-toe ombre.....just check me in somewhere. I might be heading down that road.
